I have been absent a while, but now that I'm back I'm resolute to post some deviations. Here's a experimentation I thought while starting a new drawing. I liked the face a lot, but I didn't know how to do her hair (since it's the thing I draw the best, usually). So I had the idea of scanning the face, do photocopies and do many hairs. But when it got to coloring in on the computer, I realized my trial of corel painter 9 was expired (yes, I'm far from being a professional and this program isn't for "broke" students lol). Here comes to the "dear diary part" ... then I tried to find a free version on Internet, and found one, but completely infected... whatever. This is a version coloured with and old version of corel painter (the version that came with my graphic tablet), but when the constrast was this way I prefered it this way. lol.
I agree. I had a lot of problems doing the hair, because the old corel is hard to use for a beginner like me, so I had to use so many ways to try to get a piece of what I wanted to do, so that's it... lol
I have it but, I don't know, for drawing and colouring, especially because I have a hard time with the graphic tablet (I don't know why, but it doesn't work for me lol) I didn't find Photoshop the best. My favorite is corel painter 9... but... loool you know the story
Your an excellent artist. I think someday you should post a before and after editing shot, and maybe you'll realize that you might not even need some cheap crappy editor anyway.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
